this watch has truly saved my life. When I was living in Darfur and helping the less fortunate hone in on their watch nut skills, i had been attacked by a great white whale. During the fight with the whale, I was knocked out by the great beast's tail and sank to the bottom of the dark abyss. When coming into consciousness I caught a shimmer from the corner of my eye. It was a treasure chest, I opened the great box with the initials J.C. (i assume our good lord and savior)inside was this great piece of machinery Citizen Men's Eco-Drive Perpetual Calendar Chronograph Watch. I put it on and instantly I felt the presence of the Solar Cells seeping into my blood stream. A surge of life flowed through my three wolf t-shirt and I was born again as. .. dun dun da. . . Solar Wolf. I grew gills and was able to breathe in the water. I live there now and I have only surfaced to tell my tale. Please friends spread the word, this watch saved my life
My only complaint is that it says is for men, I am not longer man or woman, for I am Solar Wolf (this is the only reason why i gave it four stars)

I've had this watch since July 2006, and have cherished it since. However, just one thing to beware of, this watch cannot be retrofitted with a Citizen metal wrist strap. Ironically it's sibling that comes with the metal (titanium) strap has a different case back i.e. it has deeper scalloping to allow the metal strap to connect to the watch. The leather band watch does not have this deeper scalloping and so will not allow attachment of a Citizen metal strap. In conclusion if you think you will one day switch from one strap material to the next, then it may pay to get the metal strap variant, allowing retrofitting of a leather strap at a later date.

This watch is as described in other reviews. It is easy to use, is very accurate, and is just the right size. Comfortable even on my smaller wrist. It also looks good. I have used the local time option for the daylight savings time change as suggested by other owners.
I would recommend this product to friend.
